Our campsite is located in an area of outstanding natural beauty. We want you to have a great time but we all need to respect and preserve the natural beauty and wildlife here.
As such we ask our campers to read the following information and observe our rules.
2021 Prices per night are: £10 per person. Children under 4 free. Gazebos/awnings £5. Tents larger than 25 square meters £3.
Check in from 2.pm (or earlier by agreement).
Check out by 11am. (There is a charge of £5 for late stays, subject to availability).
Please make yourself aware of the location of the fire safety point and instructions on arrival.
Leave no trace
Please use the bins and recycling facilities. Apart from some hopefully happy memories, please ensure the only trace of your visit is the flattened and faded grass where your tent has been.
(Cigarette butts and bottle tops are litter). Flower pots containing sand can be provided for smokers on request.
Bricks can be provided to prevent disposable barbecues from burning the grass.
We are afraid that we do not allow dogs (including puppies) on the campsite.
Please do not exceed 5mph in vehicles anywhere on site.
Children must be under the control and supervision of an adult on the campsite. This is especially important as we are next to the river.
Be friendly and respect the people around you. Please do not make any excessive noise on site and especially between 1000pm and 0700am which is our quiet time.
We do not allow music to be played through speakers.
Singing, laughing, story telling and making great memories are positively encouraged. (But remember, quiet after 1000pm).
Sorry, no stag/ hen/ party groups.
We want you all to enjoy the wonderful dark skies. Please use only small torches or lights bright enough to get you around our campsite safely.
Fishing is not permitted at our site.
Fire pits can be hired and wood purchased, subject to availability. (No private fire pits allowed).
There are no facilities on site to dispose of chemical toilet waste.
Fireworks and Chinese’s lanterns are prohibited on site.
As we are a small site next to the River Wye and because of our lovely unpredictable British weather, there may be rare occasions when we will have to close due to potential flooding. We do not ‘flash flood’ and we receive 24 to 48 hours notice of a possible flood from the Environment Agency.
In the event of such a warning, any campers on site would be asked to leave and anyone booked in would have their reservation cancelled.
We reserve the right to decline acceptance of any booking or expel any visitors for conduct detrimental to our campsite or the comfort of other guests.
We accept no responsibility, and cannot accept liability for any injury sustained by any person, or damage or loss of any property brought onto the site.
WE HOPE YOU ENJOY YOUR STAY WITH US.
